POTTSTOWN, PA : Man suffers minor injuries in one-vehicle crash in Pottstown on Thursday, December 8th 2016
A single-vehicle crash sent one man to the hospital Thursday with minor injuries.
Police said that the driver, Alvin Clark, had been travelling southbound on North Adams Street in a Toyota Camry when the crash occurred. Clark had finished working an overnight shift when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into the utility pole, police said.
Clark was transported to Pottstown Memorial Medical Center by Goodwill Ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.
PECO was later called to the scene to fix the utility pole after live wires fell during the crash. North Adams Street remained closed at Prospect Street and Terrace Lane while crews worked.
No outages were reported as a result of the accident.
