Greenback,TN : 4 killed in head-on collision in Tennessee on August, Sunday 27th 2017
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says four people have been killed in a head-on collision.
Media outlets report the accident happened Saturday night in Greenback when a northbound van on U.S. Route 411 crossed into the southbound lane and struck a car. Greenback is about 30 miles (48 kilometers) southwest of Knoxville.
The highway patrol says three passengers in the car were killed: 13-year-old Destiny Vires, of Benton; and 13-year-old Riley Burris and 39-year-old Winnie L. Burris, both of Old Fort. The driver of the van, 34-year-old Darryl K. Brewer of Maryville, also died.
The car’s driver was being treated for injuries.
