Rapid City,SD : More details released on biker killed in wreck on may, saturday 6th 2017

More details have been released about a fatal accident that occurred Saturday on Nemo Road.

A 37-year-old man died after his motorcycle collided with a pickup, according to the state Department of Public Safety. His name was not immediately released so that relatives could be notified.

The man was eastbound on Nemo Road aboard a 2002 Harley-Davidson FLHRI when he "tried to pass a van in a no-passing zone" around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, according to a release. The motorcyclist crashed into a 2002 Ford F350 pickup that was heading west.

He died at the scene, about eight miles west of Rapid City.
