ELLENSBURG, WA : Motorist killed in an Interstate 90 crash on Tuesday, November, 14th 2017

The Washington State Patrol on Wednesday identified a Yakima woman as the motorist killed in an Interstate 90 crash Tuesday.

Troopers said Desiree A. Sparling, 54, of Yakima died when the 2014 Mercedes SUV she was driving drifted into the median, struck the highway divider and rolled.

A tractor-trailer driven by Afran M. Khan, 47, of Gridley, Calif., was damaged by debris from the crash. Khan was not injured. Troopers say the cause of the crash is under investigation.
