CHANDLER, AZ : 2 drivers killed in crash in Chandler on Tuesday, 18th June 2024

Two people are dead after a two-vehicle crash late Tuesday night in Chandler.

Chandler police said the crash happened around 10:30 p.m. near Armstrong Place and Price Road. Officers responded and found that both drivers were dead, and they were the only occupants of each of their vehicles.

The two drivers have not yet been identified.

Detectives responded to investigate, prompting the closure of the intersection into the overnight hours. Police said the closure is not expected to last into the morning commute.

Chandler PD said speed, impairment and other factors that could have contributed to this crash are under investigation.
