Sherman Oaks, CA : Fiery 3-car crash on 101 Freeway leaves 1 dead, 2 injured on Tuesday, 26th November, 2019

An SUV rolled and caught fire, killing a 40-year-old man inside, during a crash that involved at least three vehicles on the 101 Freeway in Sherman Oaks on Tuesday, police and fire officials said.

Amy Bastman, a Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman, said two other victims were hospitalized with minor injuries.

The crash was reported at 10:46 a.m. on the westbound side of the 101 near the Van Nuys Boulevard off-ramp. It wasn’t immediately clear what led to the collision.
