LAKE HALLIE, WI : a two-vehicle crash in Lake Hallie on May, Saturday, 13th 2017
One person remains in the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Lake Hallie Saturday afternoon.
According to Officer Tim Bowman of the Lake Hallie Police Department, the department received a report of the crash at the intersection of 130th Street and 40th Avenue at about 2 p.m. Saturday. According to Bowman, a pickup truck failed to stop at the stop sign while traveling northbound on 130th Street. The vehicle struck an SUV traveling westbound on 40th Avenue. The driver of the SUV, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle, Bowman said. The driver and a passenger, a 10-year-old child, were both injured and transported to the hospital following the crash.
The child has been released from the hospital, but the driver has yet to be released, suffering life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the pickup was released from the scene with no injuries, Bowman said.
The crash remains under investigation by the department.
