Dorchester, IA : One man died, two injured in rollover accident at Dorchester Drive and Iowa Highway 76 early Sunday, May 1, 2016

A Dorchester man died and two others were injured in a rollover accident early Sunday.

About 2:19 a.m., troopers with the Iowa State Patrol responded to an accident at Dorchester Drive and

Iowa Highway 76. According to reports, Benjamin Bednarski, 20, of Waukon, was driving a 2009 Ford,

traveling south on Highway 76 when he was unable to negotiate a curve, drove off the road and entered

the ditch, coming to rest upside down.

A passenger in the car, William Johns, 20, of Dorchester, was killed in the accident. Bednarski and a

second passenger, Brent Ziegler, 19, of Waukon, were injured and transported by ambulance to

Gunderson Lutheran Hospital.

The accident remains under investigation.
