NASHVILLE, TN : Driver injured after crashing into utility pole on Donelson Pike on Friday, 28th October, 2016

An accident tied up traffic along Donelson Pike for hours on Friday morning.

A driver swerved to avoid hitting another driver and hit a utility pole near Royal Parkway at around 2:30 a.m.

The driver is said to have minor injuries.

NES has removed the power lines from the street, so all lanes have reopened.

Crews will have to do additional work on the utility pole later in the day.
