TUCSON, AZ : Authorities searching for car involved in hit-and-run on Tucsons southwest side on Tuesday, 26th September 2023

Tucson Police are searching for the driver who killed a pedestrian on Tucson's southwest side.

On September 26 just before 4:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the I-19 overpass at West Valencia Road for a report of a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

Police identified the woman as 41-year-old Adriana Patricia Mada.

Mada was on the south side of the overpass, crossing from west to east while the involved vehicle was traveling north on the I-19 off-ramp.

Mada ran into the crosswalk while the vehicle had a green traffic signal.
