SEDGWICK COUNTY, KS : 2 injured in motorcycle crash on I-135 north of Park City on Sunday, 11th August 2024

Two people were taken to the hospital Sunday morning after a motorcycle crash on I-135 a few miles north of Park City.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the motorcycle was heading southbound on I-135 near exit 19 around 11:15 a.m. when its rear tire blew, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle. The driver and passenger were thrown from the motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 49-year-old Oklahoma man, had minor injuries. The passenger, a 46-year-old Montana woman, suffered serious injuries.
