Dodge County, WI : 40-year-old man died early Saturday when he lost control of his SUV and struck a tree on August 9th 2014

A 40-year-old man died early Saturday when he lost control of his SUV and struck a struck a tree in the Town of Calamus, according to the Dodge County sheriff's department. The vehicle was headed west on County Highway G near County Highway DE when the crash occurred about 1:04 a.m. on the north side of the road. Beaver Dam fire and policed aided at the scene. The man was pronouced dead at the scene by the Dodge County medical examiner. Speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
