WAYNE COUNTY, WV : Crash sends person to the hospital in Wayne County on Wednesday, 14th February 2024

A crash between a tractor-trailer and a car Wednesday afternoon on U.S. 52 in the Fort Gay area sent one person to the hospital, Wayne County 911 dispatchers say.

The accident was reported before 3 p.m. near Bromley Ridge Road.

Dispatchers say a person was flown to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department is investigating. Crews from the Louisa and Fort Gay volunteer fire departments also have been on scene, along with Prichard EMS.
