BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IA : ATV vs. car accident sends one to hospital on Wednesday, 16th September, 2020

Emergency crews were called to the 1000 block of Beaver Valley Road for an accident between an ATV and a minivan.

The driver of the minivan was traveling east, when the driver of the ATV pulled out of a driveway onto Beaver Valley Road.

Deputies say the ATV driver didn't yield before entering the road.

The driver of the van swerved to avoid hitting the ATV, but struck it in the front fender.

The ATV driver was ejected and airlifted to a hospital for his injuries.

He is expected to survive.
