Warwick, R.I : 57-year-old Arthur Pelliccia died in a motorcycle crash in Warwick on Monday, May 4, 2015

Police say a motorcyclist who crashed in Warwick on Monday afternoon has died.

Warwick police say 57-year-old Arthur Pelliccia of North Providence succumbed to his injuries at Rhode Island Hospital on Wednesday night. Authorities are seeking the driver of a green minivan who may have spoken with Pelliccia before he crashed.

An investigation found that Pelliccia was riding his motorcycle south on Greenwich Avenue when a minivan pulled out from Vancouver Avenue and turned left in front of him. He talked to the minivan's driver and then made a U-Turn.

Police say Pelliccia was thrown off the motorcycle after accelerating and losing control. He wasn't wearing a helmet and suffered critical injuries.

Police are seeking the minivan driver as a possible witness.
