Memphis, TN : Multiple vehicles crashed in interstate 240 westbound on Wednesday September 23 2015

Multiple vehicles crashed on interstate 240 westbound forcing even worse traffic in the area than usual.
Since the traffic pattern in the area shifted, morning commuters coming into Memphis from the Lakeland area have complained of long drive times. This crash will make the drive last even longer.
The crash happened on I-240 westbound near exit 12. Traffic is bumper-to-bumper on 240 and causing delays on I-40.
Traffic Tracker Janeen Gordon believes about five cars were involved in the crash.
Crews closed all but one lane on the interstate to clear the crash; they have since reopened the interstate, but traffic is still backed up and moving slowly.
