OKALOOSA COUNTY, FL : Crestview police officer injured in three-vehicle crash on Wednesday, 1st November 2023

A 29-year-old Crestview police officer sustained minor injuries after rear-ending another vehicle while responding to an emergency disturbance call on Wednesday night.

The crash happened at the intersection of State Road 85 and Griffith Avenue at around 8 p.m.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a marked Crestview Police patrol car was traveling in emergency response southbound on Ferdon Boulevard to a disturbance call.

Trooper say traffic at the intersection Ferdon Boulevard and E. Griffin Street was congested, and traffic was not able to yield to the emergency vehicle. Therefore, the patrol unit rear-ended a car which then was pushed into a truck.
