York County crash involving Elizabethtown man

A teenager killed in a fiery crash Monday in York County that also involved an Elizabethtown man has been identified.

Timothy S. Grim Jr., 19, of Wellsville, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 1:50 p.m. crash on Route 194 in Washington Township, state police at the York barracks said today.

The other driver, Mark P. Wesser, 45, of Elizabethtown, was taken to Hershey Medical Center with moderate injuries, police said.
He was later discharged to his home, a medical center spokeswoman said today.Police said Grim was traveling south when he lost traction on a slight curve and his Toyota sedan slid into the northbound lane and into the path of a tractor-trailer.

Investigators said the front of the truck struck the passenger side of the Toyota and both vehicles caught fire.
