Salt Lake City, UT : six people injured after a rollover crash in Salt Lake City on Sunday night, December 20, 2015

Police say six people have been hospitalized with serious injuries after a rollover crash in Salt Lake City.

Salt Lake Police Lt. Martin Kaufmann says five teenage girls were riding in a black Lexus Sunday night when the driver tried to turn left and crashed into an SUV.

Kaufmann says the 15- and 16-year-old girls and the 40-year-old male SUV driver were taken to local hospitals with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating but say the Lexus driver may have run a red light.
