PLATTSBURGH, NY : Clinton Community College student dies in crash on Monday, 31st October 2016

There was sadness Monday on the campus of Clinton Community College following a car accident that killed a student.

It happened on Interstate 87 just south of Glens Falls Sunday morning. Police say the SUV rolled multiple times after the driver fell asleep. Akeem Carr-Foster of Brooklyn was thrown from the vehicle and died. College officials say he was a popular student, and played basketball. Five other students from Clinton Community were in the vehicle. One remains hospitalized.
