Ravenna, OH : Two hurt in Ravenna Township on April, Thursday 13th 2017
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a traffic crash that took place just before 10 p.m. Wednesday night in the 2700 block of Brady Lake Road underneath the railroad overpass.
The crash resulted in two people being transported to University Hospitals Portage Medical Center -- one by the Ravenna Township Fire Department and another by the Kent Fire Department, Ravenna Township Fire Chief Mark Kozak said Thursday.
Neither person had to be extricated from their vehicle, he said. Kozak said he did not know the extent of the injuries, and could not release any additional information due to privacy regulations. He said the vehicles involved appeared to have suffered "extensive damage," and referred other questions to the highway patrol.
A report by the responding trooper was not available as of noon Thursday, a sergeant at the highway patrol's Ravenna post said, and the crash remains under investigation.
