Kankakee, IL : A two-vehicle accident on U.S. Route 52 on Wednesday, October, 11th 2017

A two-vehicle accident on U.S. Route 52, 2 miles south of Martinton, sent one driver to the hospital and the arrest of the other driver on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol on Wednesday.

According to Illinois State Police District 21, Thomas Frogge, of Martinton, failed to stop at the stop sign at 2200E Road.

Frogge's 1987 Dodge pickup truck struck a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero driven by Stephanie Brattin, of Donovan, that was traveling westbound on Route 52.

The 39-year-old Brattin was transported to Riverside Medical Center with injuries.The 63-year-old Frogge was also ticketed for failure to yield.
