San Jose, CA : Motorcyclist killed after being struck by a vehicle at Tully and White roads in East San Jose on Sunday, February 7, 2016

A motorcyclist was killed Sunday after being struck by a vehicle at Tully and White roads in East San Jose.

San Jose police officers were on scene investigating the crash late Sunday, which was reported after 2 p.m. and caused slight traffic delays. The victim's identity was not immediately released.

"The driver cooperated and did immediately stop," said Officer Albert Morales, a spokesman for the department. "The motorcycle driver was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead."

Morales said the driver of the car was traveling alone. It did not appear that alcohol or drugs were a factor, Morales said.
