Beaumont, TX : 81-year-old Lumberton woman was killed in a head-on crash on April, Thursday 20th 2017

An 81-year-old Lumberton woman was killed in a head-on crash on U.S. 69 near the Westwood subdivision on Thursday, according to authorities.
The accident happened around 1 p.m. near West Chance Road when a truck crossed the center line and hit the woman's SUV head-on, police said.
Beaumont Enterprise media partner 12News identified the deceased as Betty Nichols.
The driver of the truck, according to the TV station, was in critical condition on Thursday afternoon.
