Knoxville,TN : Two racers walk away from near-fatal racing crash on may, Wednesday 31th 2017

United States - Two sprint car drivers survived a potentially disastrous accident earlier in May during the Knoxville Raceway championship series in Tennessee.

The video shows the driver clipping the rear end of the other vehicle just before taking a bend, which then saw the driver, who made the initial contact, take flight over the fence.

Both drivers were said to walk away from the crash unscathed despite the dramatic impact.

Alan Zoutte, the racer who flew over the fence, became the 8th driver to clear the high barricade since 1982 when the fences were put up at the raceway.
