Belton, TX : Two killed in Bell County crash on Monday, 25th September 2023

The Department of Public Safety reported two people were killed in a Monday morning crash in Bell County.

Sgt Bryan Washko said the crash occurred at the intersection of FM 439 and FM 93 between Belton and Nolanville about 6:30 Monday morning.

Troopers say 30-year-old Macayla Meshell Bartek of Belton was going west on FM 439 in her 1992 Chevrolet Truck. 46-year-old Lance Scott Jerome Walker of Belton was going east in a 2020 Kia Optima. The two vehicles crashed, killing both drivers.

Troopers are reconstructing the evidence at the scene to determine which vehicle crossed over into the opposite lanes.
