Indianapolis, IN : Boone County police chase ends with fatal crash in Whitestown on Sunday, July 23, 2017

A driver who ran a stop sign and led police on a miles-long chase early Sunday died after crashing near a Boone County truck stop.

About 2:48 a.m. Sunday, a Boone County Sheriff's deputy saw a speeding red Nissan driven by 28-year-old Antonio Angel Barragan of Jeffersonville disregard a stop sign at the intersection of Indianapolis Road and Whitestown Parkway, according to a news release.
