Officials say a car split in two after the driver lost control and crashed into two cement light poles early Friday morning.
Orlando police say the debris from the crash on eastbound Colonial Drive near Mills Avenue hit some nearby businesses causing damage just after midnight.
Police say when they arrived, they saw a person trying to leave the scene on foot but was taken into custody for further questioning.
Police identified the person as a juvenile who had 8 warrants for his arrest including armed burglary with a fire arm, grand theft and possession of a fire arm.
Investigators say a firearm was also found inside the crashed vehicle and the vehicle was stolen.
