CALDWELL, ID : Man identified in fatal motorcycle crash on May, Monday, 15th 2017

The man who died Saturday when he hit a chain across a walking path while riding his motorcycle was identified by police Monday.

Michael C. McCoy, 55, crashed around 7:23 p.m., according to an Idaho State Police press release. McCoy was not wearing a helmet.

McCoy was traveling westbound on the walking path near Jefferson Middle School when he hit a chain that was across the path to keep traffic out.
