A Maryland man is facing several drunk driving charges after a crash that sent a four-year-old to the hospital with serious injuries Sunday afternoon, Anne Arundel County officials said.
Authorities said the crash took place on the 2500 block of Davidsonville Road in Gambrills, Maryland on Sunday after a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado collided.
Both occupants in the Jeep, a 29-year-old man, and a 4-year-old boy, were injured. Officials said the 4-year-old, who was properly restrained in a car seat, was airlifted to a pediatric trauma center in Baltimore for life-threatening injuries.
