Dodge Center, MN : Teen crashes, rolls on Highway 14 near Dodge Center on Sunday afternoon, April 3, 2016
A Mazeppa teenager suffered non-life-threatening injuries when the car she was driving crashed on Highway 14 Sunday afternoon, the Minnesota State Patrol reports.
Cecilia Siems, 16, was traveling east on Highway 14 near Dodge Center in a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis at about 3:45 p.m. Sunday when the accident occurred. According to the state patrol report, the car went off the road and rolled twice in the eastbound ditch.
There were no passengers reported in the vehicle when the accident occurred and no other vehicle was involved, the patrol reports.
Siems was transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester by Dodge Center Ambulance, the report says. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The car was totaled in the accident and towed to Kasson Car Care.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and the Dodge Center Fire Department assisted the state patrol at the scene.
