Carlisle, PA : Duncannon man killed in crash on Wednesday, 14th March 2018

A Duncannon man is dead after a Wednesday night crash on Route 11/15 in Perry County.

State Police at Newport said John E. Osborne, 49, was killed after the crash on Route 11/15 north, about a half mile away from the Harrisburg/Lewistown ramp in Penn Township at 9:02 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said Osborne was driving a 1993 Honda Accord in the left lane when he over-compensated on a right-hand turn.

The vehicle traveled sideways to the edge of the road, rolled along the embankment and rolled back onto the road.

Osborne was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
