ATTLEBORO, MA : A five-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer and dump truck on Tuesday, May 30, 2017

A five-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer and dump truck on Interstate 95 Tuesday night shut down the highway for about half-an-hour.

One person was taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, a fire official said.

The accident was reported about 9:30 p.m. on I-95 North between Route 123 and I-295.

All but the high-speed lane of the northbound side of the highway was shut down for about 30 minutes.

Traffic was reported backed-up for some distance.

Local and state police handled the accident scene.

Besides the two trucks, the other vehicles were SUVs, the fire official added.
