Westbrook, ME : Monroe man dead after collision with tractor trailer in Westbrook on Saturday, 7th March, 2020

A man was killed in a crash Saturday night between a sedan and a tractor trailer, state police said.
Patrick John Mezick, 29, of Monroe, was pronounced dead after the collision at Ortner Drive and Route 145, which happened at about 8:10 p.m., police said.
Mezick was driving a 2003 Toyota Camry, which hit the trailer of a Freightliner Cascadia 126, police said. The truck driver was not hurt, police said. Both vehicles were towed from the scene due to disabling damage. Police said they are investigating the cause of the accident.
