AMELIA, OH : Funeral arrangements set for Clearcreek Twp. officer killed in crash on Thursday, 31st January 2019

Funeral arrangements have been set for Clearcreek Township Police Officer Jerrid Lee, who was killed in a head-on crash in Batavia Township earlier this week.

The 27-year-old officer was on his way to work out before his shift when he was hit by a car that was driving on the wrong side of the road.Police said a preliminary investigation revealed a 2006 GMC Envoy driven by Justin M. Watts, 31, was traveling east on State Route 125 when it crossed the center turn lane into the westbound lanes of the road.

Lee was pronounced dead at the scene.
