EVANSVILLE, IN : Motorcyclist hurt after west side crash on Thursday, September 8th 2016

A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after a crash on Evansville's west side.

It happened just after noon on St. Joseph Avenue.

Police say the driver of a car was trying to turn into McDonald's and didn't see the motorcycle when he ran into him.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with a possible broken leg. He was wearing a helmet.
