Monett,MO : Infant flown to hospital after wreck on September, Wednesday 20th 2017
Three people, including an infant, were injured Wednesday in a wreck at 6:48 a.m. on Highway 60 at Farm Road 1100, east of Monett.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Daniel Gulley, 46, of Springfield, was driving a 2017 Freightliner box truck westbound and attempted to make a left turn in front of a 2001 Ford Explorer, being driven by Marvin Flores-Casimiro, 24, of Verona.
Sasha Flores, 1, of Verona, a passenger in Flores-Casimiro's vehicle, suffered moderate injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Another passenger in the Explorer, Beatriz Juarez, 27, of Verona, suffered serious injuries and was flown to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. Flores-Casimiro was not injured.
Gulley suffered minor injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Cox Monett Hospital.
Gulley and Flores-Casimiro were wearing safety devices, and Flores and Juarez were not. The Explorer was totaled, and the Freightliner sustained moderate damage.
