Kingsport,TN : Fall Branch woman crashes while fleeing burglary on October, Tuesday 24th 2017

Deputies drew their guns on a woman Tuesday during a burglary investigation in northern Washington County, prompting a chase that ended in a crash, Sheriff Ed Graybeal said in a news release.

The sheriff said deputies were called to a burglary in progress at 3068 Ridgemont Circle off Eastern Star Road, where they encountered Sonya Corder, 37, 113 Ridge Road, Fall Branch.

The deputies ordered Corder out of her car at gunpoint, but she allegedly sped away, going through several yards before she made it to the road.
