The Dorchester County Coroner’s Office released the identity of the man killed following a fiery crash in Summerville on Wednesday, July 13 on 6:10 a.m.
Jonathan Stewart, 23, of Summerville died after the Hyundai he was driving, hit a tree, and burst into flames on Delemar Highway near Boyle Way.
Dorchester County Coroner Alice Durr says that Stewart died at the scene.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the accident. No word on what caused Stewart to drive off the left side of the road.
