Tallahassee, FL : A fatal crash in Osceola County on Sunday, May 28, 2017

A fatal crash in Osceola County left a Naples man dead.

Jamal Brown, 37, was walking across U.S. 192 in Kissimmee late Saturday night when he was struck by driver Yashira Gonzalez Diaz, 25, in the middle eastbound lane.

Brown was dragged under the vehicle onto the right shoulder while the car continued and crashed into a traffic sign. Diaz received minor injuries.

Diaz was clean of any alcohol at the time of the crash.

Brown was taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center where he was declared dead.

The crash remains under investigation.
