APPLE VALLEY, CA : Apple Valley woman killed in Bear Valley Road crash on Sunday, 12th January, 2020

A 21-year-old town resident was pronounced dead at the scene of a traffic collision on Bear Valley Road, just west of Joshua Road, Sunday evening, authorities said.

The woman has not been identified, pending notification of next of kin, according to a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department news release.

Deputies and medical personnel responded to the two-vehicle collision just before 7 p.m. Sunday. Deputies determined that the woman, driving a silver Honda Accord, lost control and veered left into oncoming westbound traffic on Bear Valley Road, according to the release.
