Houston, TX : 64-year-old man killed in fatal motorcycle accident on I-10 at Dairy Ashford on Saturday, April 4, 2015
Eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 at Dairy Ashford Road have reopened after a fatal two-vehicle accident that happened around 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
The Houston Police Department said a 64-year-old man was killed in the crash. He was pronounced dead after being taken to Ben Taub Hospital. Police said he was traveling with a 68-year-old woman on a motorcycle.
The woman suffered a leg injury.
Officials said the man lost control of the motorcycle, ejecting him and the woman. HPD said the motorcycle kept going on its own and struck the back of a white Infiniti QX80. The driver of the Infiniti was not hurt.
Traffic was stopped and backed up to Highway 6.
