Kansas City, MO : 38-year-old Holden man killed in a rollover wreck on I-470 and Raytown Road on Thursday, April 28, 2016

A man was killed in a single-vehicle traffic wreck Thursday on Interstate 470 near Raytown Road, according to authorities.

The accident occurred about 6 p.m. when a man driving a Plymouth Neon eastbound on I-470 drifted off the road for unknown reasons and struck the base of the Raytown Road bridge, according to police.

The vehicle rolled over and the man died at the scene. He was the only occupant of the car.

The man was not wearing a seat belt, police said.
