Sisters, OR : Six people injured in multiple-vehicle crash on Highway 20 east of Santiam Junction on Friday morning, December 25, 2015

Oregon State Police have identified the drivers in Friday morning's multiple-injury crash on Highway 20 near milepost 77, just east of Santiam Junction.

Information indicated that a Chevy Tahoe driven by Maria Sandoval, 42, of Salem was traveling eastbound on the highway when it lost control due to icy conditions. Her car crossed the center line and struck a 2005 Dodge pickup driven by Richard L. Barge, 44, of Terrebonne.

One of the passing motorists, a doctor, stopped and provided attention at the scene before medical personnel arrived. Four of Sandoval's passengers were transported by ground ambulance to Saint Charles Bend. Barge and his wife, Kimberly, 40, were also treated at Saint Charles Bend for non-life-threatening injuries.

Highway 20 was closed for several hours during the investigation.
