Jessup, MD : One man died and two others injured in a crash in the area of Route 295 North near Route 32 early Wednesday morning, Oct 14, 2015

One man was killed and two others were injured in a crash early Wednesday morning near Jessup, Anne Arundel fire officials said.

The accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the area of Route 295 North near Route 32. Firefighters arrived to find a single overturned vehicle. One person had been ejected, fire officials said.

A man estimated to be in his late 40s was determined to be dead at the scene. A woman, around 30, was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with critical life-threatening injuries.

A third person was taken to Howard County General Hospital with minor injuries, fire officials said.

As of Wednesday morning, U.S. Park Police had not identified the deceased. An investigation remains ongoing, Sgt. Anna Rose, an agency spokeswoman, said.
