Johnson Creek, WI : Fatal crash occurs in Johnson Creek in State Highway 26 on Tuesday, 1st January 2019

One person was killed and other people were transported to area hospitals following a two-vehicle accident in the area of Linmar Lane and State Highway 26 in the Village of Johnson Creek on Tuesday, Jan. 1.

Jefferson County Sheriff Paul Milbrath reported that at about 3:12 p.m. Monday, the sheriff’s department was advised of a two vehicle accident.

The preliminary investigation showed a SUV traveling west on Linmar Lane was attempting to turn south onto State Highway 26 when it collided with a semi-truck traveling south on State Highway 26.

A passenger in the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.
