Epping ,NH :Two teens seriously injured in crash on early Monday morning ,July 20th 2015
Police responded to a serious motor vehicle crash in Epping early Monday morning.
Epping police, along with Epping fire and rescue personnel, responded to the crash on Camp Lee Road just before 3 a.m. and requested the assistance of New Hampshire State Police.
Officials said Vincent Casazza, 19, of Newmarket, had been driving a silver 2010 Infinity G37x south on Camp Lee Road when he lost control of the car and crashed into several trees.
Casazza and his passenger, Kyle Ward, 17, of Laconia, were trapped inside the car.
Casazza was taken by ambulance to Portsmouth Regional Hospital with serious injuries. Ward was flown to Massachusetts General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Camp Lee Road was closed for several hours while state police and Epping police conducted their investigation and the wreckage was removed.
Members of the Lee Police Department, Lee Fire and Rescue, Newmarket Police Department, Newmarket Fire and Rescue and Epping Highway Department assisted at the scene, with help from Eversource Energy and Lewis Tree Service.
State police said that speed was a factor, but that the crash is still under investigation by the New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Unit.
