New Gloucester, ME : Four people injured in two vehicles head-on crash Route 100 in New Gloucester on Saturday May 14th, 2016

Four people were injured Saturday in a head-on crash of two vehicles on Route 100 in New Gloucester.
The crash took place at about 11:15 a.m., according to a news release from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s deputies said the crash occurred when a Toyota Camry taxi operated by the Royal Cab Co. of Portland and driven by Hassan Aden, 21, of Portland was headed north on Route 100, which is also known as Lewiston Road. Deputies said that Aden initially failed to see a vehicle stopped in the northbound lane and waiting to turn left. In an attempt to avoid hitting that vehicle, they said, Aden crossed the centerline of the road and hit a car coming in the opposite direction head-on.
That car was a Honda Civic driven by David Dyer, 67, of Gray.
Aden and his passenger, Daga Abdullahi, 43, of Portland, were both transported to the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, where a nursing supervisor said they had asked that no information on their conditions be released. Dyer and his passenger, Sharon Dulac, 66, of Gray, were taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where Dyer was listed in fair condition Saturday night and Dulac in serious condition.
