Nashville, TN : Six people were injured after SUV crashes into MTA bus at Dickerson Pike On Tuesday, May 31st, 2016

Six people were hurt after a Cadillac Escalade crashed into the rear of a Metro Transit Authority bus on Dickerson Pike on Tuesday morning.

Authorities said the bus stopped to pick up passengers at Hillhurst Drive and the Escalade crashed into the rear of it. Police said it appeared the driver of the Escalade did not attempt to brake before the crash.

Two southbound lanes of Dickerson Pike were closed following the crash.

The woman driving the Escalade was transported to a hospital. One passenger on the bus was taken to a hospital after complaining of back and neck injuries.

There is no word whether anyone will face charges in the crash.
