Olympia, WA : A 22-year-old Army specialist died after a vehicle crash on February, Wednesday 7th 2018

A 22-year-old Army specialist died after a vehicle crash this week on Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

Army Spc. Jeremy Allen, 22, died Wednesday. Officials say the crash is under investigation and no other details were released.

Allen joined the Army in 2013 and was assigned to JBLM in 2014. He was a tactical power generation specialist assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne).

“Our deepest condolences go to the family of Spc. Jeremy Allen. We collectively mourn the loss of our Soldier and honor his service to the nation,” Col. Will Beaurpere, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) commander, said in a news release.
